Sheila was born April 3rd, 1953 in Massillon, OH, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred (Steiner) Fahrni. She grew up in Dalton, OH and graduated from Dalton High School in 1971. Throughout her working years she was a waitress at the L&K Restaurant, an employee at the J M Smucker Jelly Company, was a Substitute Teacher for Fulton & Williams counties, an aid & a school bus driver at Head Start, and lastly a dietary aid at the Filling Homes Community Center until she retired at the age of 65. In the middle of her working years, Sheila was a stay-at-home mother for her two children, Joshua Stockburger and Catherine Stockburger until their middle school years. I’m sure there were plenty of times we exasperated our mother, but she cared for & loved us dearly. Our dear mother will always be remembered for her kindness, conscientiousness, humor, forgiving nature and for her love. She always had a heart for people. And she was able to make others smile and feel valued. Sheila had a deep reverence for God and a deep affection for her family & friends. She always enjoyed traveling, reading, watching movies, her beloved Cleveland Browns, drinking her Pepsi, cats, strawberries, deer and angels. She is now a beloved Angel of God.
