Orrville – Emma Sue Siers, age 55, of Orrville, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with the lord on Saturday June 22, 2023, after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.
Emma was Born in Clarington, Ohio to Charles and Lorinda “Sue” (Friesel) Gilmore July 30, 1967. They survive. She resided near Orrville most of her life raising her kids and married the love of her life Alvin Siers on June 19, 1993. She enjoyed farming and working alongside her husband and daughters on the family hobby farm. She could often be found on her rocking chair on her porch enjoying the farmland view. She touched many lives and was always someone you could count on.
Emma most recently worked for Venture Products in Orrville for the past 12 years as paint line manager and previously worked for Richland Cabinets of Wooster where she was a stain and finish manager for 10 years.
Emma is survived by the love of her life and devoted husband of 30 years Alvin; her daughters Jessica Walters (Kevin Beard) of Orrville, Jennifer Mussleman (Maxton) of Orrville and Jamie (Adam) Shilling of Orrville; grandchildren Hunter and Jarrod Rehm, Bradley Beck and Lily and Lyla Shilling; mother and father-in-law Betty and Albert Siers; sisters Pauletta Webb (Duke), Luann Garrett (Robert), Ray Gilmore (Missy) and Joyce Gilmore; sisters-in-law Jewell Russell (Larry) and John Siers (Sharon). Many nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family would like to thank Special friends Carol and Marion Hochstetler, Sally Booth, Ivie Sorkin and Dave Harding for your loving care and devotion during the past years.
She is proceeded in death by her uncle Homer Gilmore and Aunt Joy Becker along with multiple other aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will take place call on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services will follow at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Art Carr officiating. A Celebration of Life will take place on Emma’s Birthday July 30, 2023, at the family’s residence, at 4:00 pm.
