Neva Jaunita Massie, 93
ORRVILLE — Neva Juanita Massie, 93, of Orrville, died peacefully Monday, 8/7/23, following a period of declining health. She was born March 3, 1930, in Sterling, OH, to Roy and Olive Mae Garver and graduated from Orrville High School in 1948. Following her marriage to Donald W. Massie on March 5, 1949, they moved to Dalton where they raised 8 children. She also had 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
In 1983 they moved to Orrvilla in Orrville, Ohio. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and her kitten Pretty Girl. She was a member of the Sippo Valley Brethren in Christ in Massillon and volunteered with Meals on Wheels of Stark/Wayne County for 30 years. She loved quilting and made many quilts for her family. She also loved spending time with her friends at Orrvilla, playing dominos and card games.
Surviving are her daughters, Debra (Paul) Lower and Donna George; sons, Dennis (Robin) Massie, Dale (Cindy) Massie, and Dean Massie. Also surviving is her sister Wilma Holderman. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Donald Massie; sons, Darrell Massie and Donald Massie; daughter, Danita Massie Mallileu; sister, Ellen Haueter; and a granddaughter.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
Services will follow at 2:00 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Hostetler officiating. Burial will take place at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.
