Donna J Nolt, 89

HEATH — Donna J. Nolt, 89, of Heath, formerly of Orrville, died Monday, August 14, 2023, at Alois Alzheimer Center in Cincinnati, following a period of declining health.

Donna was born on July 17, 1934, in Sterling, to the late Bernard and Dora (Schnell) Litman and attended Creston Elementary and High Schools.  She attended classes at The University of Akron, Wooster Beauty College and interior decorating classes.  Donna married Walter L. “Pete” Nolt on May 14, 1978, in Marshallville. Walter died on August 31, 2010.

She worked as a switchboard operator for Northertn Ohio Telephone and later as a Home Health Aide for Visiting Nurses Service.

Donna loved flowers, music and playing the organ and piano.

Surviving are two sons, Richard (Carol) McCoy of Heath and Matt (Marjorie) McCoy of Cincinnati; and two grandchildren, Will Rentz-McCoy and Ella Rentz-McCoy, both of Cincinnati.

In addition to her husband, Pete, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill McCoy; and brothers, Dale and Dean Litman.

Friends may call on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.

Services will follow at 12:00 Noon on Friday, at the funeral home, with Kevin O’Brien officiating.  Burial will take place at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.
