Roy K. Franks, 55
Roy K. Franks, 55, of West Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Aultman Orrville Hospital.
He was born in Wooster on June 17, 1968 to Robert and Kaye (Seely) Franks Sr. and married Mary Beth Farnsworth on December 21, 2005 and she survives.
He graduated in 1986 from Smithville High School/Wayne County Schools Career Center where he studied Diesel Mechanics. Roy had served in the Ohio Army National Guard and attended Grace Church in Wooster, where he loved to serve the Lord. He was a truck driver for Provia and had previously worked for Smith Dairy in Fleet Maintenance for 32 years. He had a passion for historical trucks and was a member of ATHS.
In addition to his wife, Mary Beth, he is survived by his parents, of Smithville; a daughter, Kayla Franks of Apple Creek; step-daughters, Ashley (Ricky) Breden of Navarre and Bretanya (Thomas) Francis of North Lawrence; 7 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Franks Jr. of Smithville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Grace Church, 4599 Burbank Road, Wooster, with Pastor Jeff Walter officiating. Friends may call prior to services from 2-4:00 pm at the church. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
