Katie D. Petersheim, 75
Katie D. Petersheim, 75, of Maysville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 following diabetic complications.
She was born in Wayne County on May 9, 1948 to the late Dan and Lydia (Hershberger) Hershberger and on May 25, 1967 she married Ezra D. Petersheim. He survives.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 5 daughters and 3 sons, Ruth, Rosetta, and Wesley of the home, Edna (Nelson) Hershberger of Apple Creek, Marty (Mary) Petersheim of Dover, Christina (Mose) Nisley of Fredericksburg, Mary (David) Nisley of Apple Creek, and Nathan (Neva) Petersheim of Wooster; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary (Eli) Hostetler of Danville, Elizabeth (Melvin) Hostetler of Apple Creek; brother-in-law, Aaron Hostetler of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; a daughter, Leona; a grandson, Larry Nisley; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 9 am at the former Maysville Fabric Store in Maysville with Bishop Roman Eicher officiating. Burial will follow in Maysville Cemetery. Friends may call anytime on Thursday and Friday at the former Maysville Fabric Store. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
