Janett May Fink, 88

Rittman — Janett May Fink, age 88, of Rittman, formerly of Marshallville, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, following a brief period of declining health.
Janett was born on October 26, 1935, in Lakeville, Ohio, to the late Harold and Cecil (Morris) Swain and graduated from Jeromesville High School in 1954.  She married Harry William Fair Sr. in Millersburg. They were married until his passing on August 2, 1961. Janett later married Budge F. Fink on May 31, 1963 in Millersburg. They were married until his passing on June 22, 2001.
She worked hard to make her house a home for her family. Janett was a member of St. Michael’s United Church of Christ in Marshallville and the Marshallville Auxiliary American Legion Post 718. In her younger years she was a 4H advisor and a Girl Scout troop leader. Janett was a social butterfly. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are four children, Harry William (Robin Easterday) Fair Jr., Michelle Fink, Christine (Brian) Jones, and Dorothy (Troy) Eyler; fifteen grandchildren, Brent (Wanda) Fink, Zaneta (Ken) Armstrong, Monica Rhymes, Jennifer Crist, Tanya (Jeff) Noland, Vern Bontrager, Eric (Jessica) Fair, Nathan Fair, Janett (Chris) Miller, Jonathan (Nikki) Jones, Adam Fair, Julie Williams, James (Emelia) Jones, Brittany (Andrew Brush) Eyler, and Brooke Eyler; many great and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece Sharon Whitman; and special daughter-in-law, Deb Fair.
In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by grandchild, Adrianne Flickinger; and five siblings, Carl Swain, Bernice Dreibelbis, Roy Swain, Donald Swain, and Kenneth Swain.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at St. Michael’s United Church of Christ, 22 East Euclid Street, Marshallville, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at the church, with Pastor Joe Routh officiating. A private family burial will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
