Kathryn Hofstetter, 66

Dalton — Kathryn Hofstetter, age 66, of Dalton, formerly of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic, following a sudden period of declining health.
Kathryn was born on July 17, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, to Ivy (Saunders) and the late Bill Hanna. She graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School and was a proud graduate of the Ohio State University. She married John Hofstetter on June 25, 1983.
She worked as an accountant and a computer programmer for Hofstetter Inc. Trucking Company and most recently as a librarian for Orrville Public Library.
Kathryn was a member of Christ United Church of Christ. She was a huge Ohio State Football fan. Kathryn was an avid reader, and loved jeopardy, cross words, and puzzles. Most of all she cherished her family.
In addition to her husband John, surviving are two children, Jeremy Hofstetter, and Jessica (Mateusz Plucinski) Hofstetter; mother, Ivy Hanna; sister, Lori (Rick) Gangwisch; several nephews; and her beloved golden retriever, Dave Hofstetter.
She was preceded in death by father, Bill Hanna.
Friends may call on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 10:00 am to 11:45 am.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home, with Pastor John Wooden officiating and will be live streamed at facebook.com/AubleFuneralHome. Cremation will take place following the service and burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
