Wayne County Health Department new mobile unit – coming to a town near you

DGKN staff report

WOOSTER  The Wayne County Health Department, paid for through a grant by the Ohio Department of Health, has acquired a mobile unit, according to a news release. While the Health Department has long performed outreach, it can now do it full service. The Health Department provides education, vaccines administration and Covid testing on the unit. The Mobile Clinic will be making regular monthly stops in Mount Eaton and Kidron to serve those communities and will be providing outreach services of various types throughout the county on Fridays.
“We are stepping up our community outreach and we are prepared to travel across the county in an effort to increase our ability to provide quality public health services to all corners of Wayne County,” according to Patty Reining, Wayne County Health Department Director of Nursing.
Contact the Health Department 330-264-9590 for more information or if you have an event where you think the community may benefit.
