Luther E. Good, 82

Smithville – Luther E. Good, 82, of Smithville, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster following complications from a stroke.
Luther was born February 15, 1944, in Wooster, to the late Carl and Annetta (Zimmerman) Good. He attended Northwestern High School and was a member of the Class of 1962.
He was the owner and operator of E & G Trucking for 46 years, retiring in 2018.
Luther attended Grace Church in Wooster. He had a lifelong passion for Mack trucks and collecting Mack truck memorabilia. He also enjoyed gardening, landscaping, tinkering in his workshop, and rebuilding Steiner tractors.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Good of Smithville; three daughters, Beth (Jeff) Magyar of Farmington, Arkansas, Christina (Bill) Dover of Greensboro, Georgia, and Sheila Wood of Lorain; four grandchildren, Steven, Monica, Addison, and Aidan; a sister, Mabel Penrod of Sterling; two brothers, Carl W. (Ruth) Good and Dana Good, both of Wooster; and his beloved cat, Fluffy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Wayne Good.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Grace Church, 4599 Burbank Road, Wooster, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Pastors Randy Moomaw and Melvin Good officiating. Burial will follow at Chester Eight Square Cemetery.
