Patricia Sue Stark, 86

ORRVILLE — Patricia Sue Stark, age 86, of Orrville, died Thursday, July 16, 2026, at her home in Orrville, following a period of declining health.

Patricia was born on January 4, 1940, in Marietta, Ohio, to the late Thomas and Martha (Lenington) Johnson and attended Marietta High School.

She devoted 33 years working for the J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville, retiring in 2002. Patricia was a member of Smucker’s Retirees and loved connecting with those she worked with for years. She enjoyed cooking for her family, tending to her flower beds, and sitting on her porch swing with a glass of tea. Patricia had a great appreciation for live music, antiques, and watching the birds outside her window. Patricia was a genuinely kind soul who saw the positive in everyone and never let anyone leave her house on an empty stomach.

Surviving are three sons, James Stark of Wooster, Daniel (Rose) Stark of Orrville and Roger (Beverly) Stark of Creston; two daughters, Mary Stark of Shreve and Loretta Stark of Orrville.  She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, David Stark, Amy (Nick) Stapleton, Nicole Stark, Jennifer (Richard) Smale, Roger Stark, Jr., Brandon (Sasha) Stark, Dustin (Alisha) Stark, and David Kirksey, Jeremie (Cate) Killinger, Missy (Kaz) Vipperman, and Katlyn Killinger and a legacy of 29 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Francis Norris, Jr.; and siblings, Charles Johnson, Irene Kesterson, James Johnson, Ronald Johnson and Gene Johnson.

Friends may call on Monday, July 21, 2026, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm.

Services will follow at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with celebrant Kevin O’Brien officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
