DALTON  Life marches on.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, parades and processions have been memorable ways to gather people together to mark occasions while following health and safety guidelines.

Eastern Wayne County has seen its share of organized motorcades this spring for everything from birthdays and high school graduations to traditional funeral processions and Memorial Day parades. Over the past couple of weeks, residents have had opportunities to watch several of these tributes that have evoked happy and sad tears for some viewers. Depending upon the occasion, onlookers of all ages have made signs, waved flags, and saluted.
