Shred truck returns to Dalton Library

The Reed Records Management shred truck will be at Dalton Library Thursday, April 15 from 3-5:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to noon. Reed employees will accept sealed, filled shred bags that have been purchased at the library.

The bags, which sell for $8, have a capacity of about 50 pounds (about two banker boxes of paper). Bags can be purchased by cash, VISA or MasterCard at the library in advance or while the shred truck is onsite. All paper to be shredded must be sealed in the prepaid bags.

At the shred days a Reed employee will take custody of each sealed bag and load it into the mobile shredding truck. Filled, prepaid bags also may be taken to the Reed facility at 2730 Akron Road, Wooster from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays or by calling 330-601-0717 to make an appointment for drop off.

Shred days are sponsored each spring and fall by Dalton Friends of the Library to raise money for special library projects. Further information is available at the Dalton library branch, 127 S. Church St., Dalton, or by calling the library at 330-828-8486.
