Clark, Margaret E.

DALTON – Margaret E. Clark, age 87, passed away on April 8, 2022.

Born on October 4, 1934 in Canton, OH, she was a resident of Dalton for over 60 years.  Raised by her mother Alice and stepfather, John, she was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge in Winterhaven, FL where she and her husband, James spent their winters for 25 years as “Snowbirds”.

Preceded in death by her mother, Alice M. and step father, John Hood; husband, James L. Clark in 2021; daughter, Judy Casto; brother, Robert Harris, she is survived by her; children, Ronald Clark (Bobbie Delaney) of Dalton, Diana (Benjamin) Caillet of Dalton, Jeff (Gaye) Clark of New Philadelphia, OH, Pam (Jeff) Bonner of East Greenville, David (Sha) Clark of Columbus, OH, Jack (Helen) Watkins; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Foss Hood; sisters, Jane (Ted) Chorniak, Barbara (Steve) Malone; other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, OH, 44618 with Pastor Sally Fusek, officiating.  Burial will be at Dalton Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to service time.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
