Roger Dean Zimmerly, 58

Orrville — Roger Dean Zimmerly, age 58, of Orrville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Roger was born on March 26, 1964, in Orrville, Ohio, to the late Harold D. and M. Joanne (Hartzler) Zimmerly and graduated from Dalton High School in 1983.

He worked as a tow motor operator for J.M. Smucker Company.

Roger loved going to auctions, garage sales and tinkering with stuff, he also enjoyed watching all sorts of sports with his cousin and friends.

Roger will be greatly missed by his sister, Linda (Bob) Auten of Orrville, and his nephew, Taylor (Sophia Brown) Auten; as well as, his cousins, friends, aunts, and uncles whom he cherished.

Services were held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, with Pastors Paul Simonsen & Mark Buchwalter officiating. Burial took place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
