Edna J. Yoder, 90

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edna J. Yoder, age 90, on January 20, 2023. Edna was born in Wayne County on December 22, 1932, to the late Joseph J.C. and Emma E. Miller.

She was married to the late Andy S. Yoder on November 3, 1955, and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Edna is survived by her six daughters: Emma and Elizabeth of Orrville, Ada and Mary of Apple Creek, Edna of Florida, and Anna (David) Miller of the home. She is also survived by her four sons: Joe of Fredericksburg, Sam of Marion, Abe (Miriam), and Daniel (Miriam) both of Fredericksburg. Edna was blessed with 18 grandchildren: LeAnna, Laura (Tim), Kevin (Naomi), Deborah (Aaron), Adam, Ian, Timothy, Brian, Jeffrey, Jessica, Anthony, Jeremy, Andrew, Maria, Alan, Marion, Mark, and Malinda. She also had 8 great-grandchildren: Jenna, ElliAna, Alaina, Hannah, Lilah, Gabriel, Aaron, and TJ. Edna is also survived by her sister-in-law Ada Kaufman of Walnut Creek, Clara Yoder of Mt. Hope, and Anna (Abe) Yoder of Fredericksburg.
In addition to her husband and parents, Edna was preceded in death by her son Andy, and two grandsons Chuck and James, sister-in-law Malinda Schlabach, and brothers-in-law Dan, Eli, and Ammon.
Viewing will be held at Ada and Mary’s, 2549 S Carr Rd, Apple Creek, OH 44606 anytime after 1 pm on Saturday and anytime on Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at Ada and Mary’s, 2549 S Carr Rd, Apple Creek, OH 44606, on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 9 am with Bishop Joe D. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Erb Cemetery, East Union Township, Wayne County. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.

Edna will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in their hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
