Kenneth D. Miller, 79

ORRVILLE — Kenneth D. Miller, age 79, of Orrville, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at Autumnwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rittman, following an eight month illness.
Ken was born on May 13, 1945, in Milo, West Virginia, to the late Walter and Manta (DeWeese) Miller, graduated from Orrville High School in 1964, and served as a Specialist 5 in the United States Army, stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War.  He married Shirley A. Leiendecker on November 27, 1965, in Orrville. Shirley survives.
He worked in numerous positions for Orrville Products, Inc. for 38 years, last working in the Layout Department.
He enjoyed working on cars, taking his ’55 Chevy Bellaire to car shows, and staying at home with his family, watching westerns, or working on cars.
In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by two daughters, Casey (Lloyd) Snyder and Paula Miller, both of Wooster; two grandchildren, Cortney Breece of Wooster and Cordell (Kimberly) Snyder of Tucson, AZ; four great grandchildren, Camron and Conner Breece, Maddison Snyder, and Mia Arnold; and his faithful dogs, Faith, Kendra, and Quinn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Clayton Blanton Breece.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Christ United Church of Christ, 301 North Main Street, Orrville, with Don E. Bolich officiating.  Burial of cremated remains will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, where military rites will be observed.
