Mary Neuenschwander, 77

Mary Neuenschwander, 77, of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at her home following a long hard fought battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
She was born in Plain City, OH on November 6, 1946 to the late Menno and Amanda (Kuhns) Hostetler and married Harlan Neuenschwander on December 7, 1968 and he survives.
Mary was a devout Christian who nurtured her faith through her daily devotionals and Bible reading. She was a long-time active member at Fairlawn Mennonite Church. She had a quick wit and competitive spirit and loved playing Domino’s, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Game Show Network.  She enjoyed doing word searches and snacking on M&M’s. She joyfully worked alongside her husband on their 70 acre farm.
In addition to her husband Harlan, she is survived by children, Stephanie (Rick) Troyer of Dalton, Gene (Krissie) Neuenschwander of Dalton, Rod (Liz) Neuenschwander of North Canton and Sharon (Kyle) Radcliff of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Justin (Hannah) Troyer, Seth (Olivia) Troyer, Grace, William, Andrew, Aubrey, Brendon, Iain and Kaysie Neuenschwander, Kaden, Chayse and Avery Radcliff; great grandchildren, Landon and Lincoln Troyer; siblings, Betty (Marvin) Yutzy, Phil Hostetler, Alma (Sherm) Shrock, Wilma (Glenn) Miller, Susan (Jim) Hershberger, Robert (Tresa) Hostetler, Sharon (Jorge) Martinez, Erma (Freeman) Beachy and Gary (Sue) Hostetler and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stillborn son, Michael; a sister-in-law, Leona Hostetler; and a nephew, Ron Hostetler.
Friends and family may call on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 6-9 pm at Fairlawn Mennonite Church, 8520 Emerson Road, Apple Creek. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the church.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Sarah Eberly and Arie Troyer; the staff of Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice especially Marsha, Pastor Dale, her nurses and volunteers Mabel and Lisa.
