Willie “Pearl” Walters, 72

ORRVILLE — Willie “Pearl” Walters, age 72, of Orrville, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024, surrounded by family at her home following a period of declining health.
Pearl was born on June 29, 1952, in Autaugaville, Alabama, to the late Willie and Versie (Davis) Walters.
She worked as a Cook and Team Leader for The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville for 30 years, retiring in 2011.
Pearl was a member of First Baptist Church in Orrville. She enjoyed puzzles, baking, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Most of all she loved spending time with family.
Surviving are two daughters, Avery (Sam) Wright of Falling Waters, WV and Amby Walters of Orrville; four grandchildren, NaQuia Evans of Maryland, T’Ontre’ Simpson of Akron, Emoni Walters of Orrville, and Celeste Walters of Orrville; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Madie (Ronnie-dec.) Hill of Michigan, and Bertha Walters of Orrville; brother, Sean D. Jones of Orrville; nephew, Ronell (Yvette-dec.) Hill of MI; and three nieces, Verlisa (Charles) Barnett of North Carolina, Sonya Ward of Michigan, and Chaka (Orlando) Mobley of Toledo.
She was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Domani Leedon.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at True Church House of Prayer, 737 Buckeye Street, Orrville, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Services will follow at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at True Church, with Rev. Gary DeHart officiating. Burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
