Ray J. Hofstetter, 68

Ray J. Hofstetter, 68, of Kidron, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
He was born in Wooster on October 21, 1957 to the late Raymond and Dorothy (Sommer) Hofstetter and married Jerelyn Shellenberger on October 11, 1986 and she survives.
Ray was a partner with his brother, Ralph for many years with H & H Service.  He had also worked for A and J Exhaust and Weaver Service.  Most recently he was employed part time with Camp Buckeye.  He was a member of Kidron Mennonite Church.
In addition to his wife, Jerelyn, he is survived by children, Justin Hofstetter and Savanah (Nathanael) Hofstetter-Ressler, both of Alliance; a brother, Ralph (Sue) Hofstetter of Kidron; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Fouts.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 12:00 pm at the Kidron Mennonite Church with Pastor Carl Wiebe officiating.  Friends may call two hours prior to services from 10:00 am to -12:00 pm at the church.  Family graveside services will be held prior in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidron Mennonite Church, Box 232, Kidron, OH 44636 or Camp Buckeye, 10055 Camp Rd NW, Beach City, OH 44608.
