Louise “Wheezy” Quinn, 78

Apple Creek – Louise “Wheezy” Quinn, 78, formerly of Apple Creek, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Orrville Pointe JAG Healthcare, where she had made her home for the past two years.
Louise was born on February 29, 1948, in Alma, West Virginia, to the late Samuel and Florence (Williamson) Shuman. She graduated from Tyler County High School with the Class of 1967. On May 28, 1965, she married the love of her life, Wayne E. Quinn, in New Martinsville, West Virginia. Together they shared nearly 40 years of marriage before Wayne’s passing on April 11, 2005.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Louise was employed at Euclid Spiral for 16 years and later worked at Frito-Lay in Wooster for 10 years. She concluded her working career as a waitress, a role she enjoyed for six years before retiring in the early 2000s.
Known affectionately as “Wheezy,” Louise had a vibrant spirit and a gift for making friends wherever she went. She enjoyed dancing, fishing, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warm smile, kind heart, and outgoing personality ensured that she never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
She is survived by her four children, Christina Haskins of Smithville, Wayne (Jennifer) Quinn of Paden City, West Virginia, Dwayne (Becky) Quinn of Cuyahoga Falls, and Linda (Dean) Harvey of Marshallville; stepchildren, Steve Quinn and Tessa Quinn, both of Paden City, West Virginia; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Gracie Richards of Paden City, West Virginia, and Marie Moore, Roger (Marilyn) Shuman, Sarah Pittman, and Sammy Shuman, all of Tyler County, West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Louise was preceded in death by her siblings, Tommy Shuman, Robert Shuman, Jennings Shuman, and Vonda Lancaster.
