Teddy was born on February 5, 2006, in Orrville, to Brian and Jill (Young) Sommers and attended Northwest Middle School, where he was in the Gifted Program.
He enjoyed his cats, bowling, reading, mathematics, science, astronomy, and marine animals, especially sharks and giant squid. Teddy was brilliant. He had a great sense of humor, was a great dancer, and he loved his family. He loved penguins, being one himself, and having a “walrus” dad, “Mermaid” mom and sister, a “seal” big sister, and a “polar bear” brother.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Andy Westfall of Canton; two sisters, Dia Westfall of Canal Fulton, and Sabrina “Bina” Sommers of the home; maternal grandmother, Adelaide Young of Barberton; paternal grandmother, Kathy Sommers of North Canton; many aunts, uncles and cousins, including the “monkey dogs”; and his cats, especially Banana Joe.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ezekiel Logan Sommers; maternal grandfather, Ralph Young; and paternal grandfather, Jay Allen Sommers.
Friends may call on Friday, December 13, 2019, at SWIGART-EASTERLING Funeral Home, 624 Cherry Street East, Canal Fulton, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, at SWIGART-EASTERLING Funeral Home, with John Hornbeck officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
