Severe, William “Willie” D.

Orrville — William “Willie” D. Severe, age 74, of Orrville, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Aultman Orrville Hospital in Orrville, following a period of declining health.

Willie was born on March 10, 1947, in Oakland, Maryland, to the late Dorothy Severe.  He married Linda C. Dawson on April 10, 1971, in Cumberland, MD. Linda died on April 14, 2014.

He worked as a mechanic and shop owner for S&S Auto for over 30 years, retiring in 2016.

Willie was a member of the Knights Car Club. He enjoyed working on old hot rods and going to car shows, spending time and playing board games with the family, especially his grandkids, and enjoyed his retirement.

Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly (Paul) Vallee of Creston, and Tammy (Richard) Parr of Orrville; son, Bill Severe of Orrville; grandchildren, Naomi, Josephine, Abigail, and Brittney; brother, Carl Severe of Myrtle Beach, SC; and daughter-in-law, Kelly of Orrville.

Friends may call on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, at Auble Funeral Home. Cremation will take place after the services.
