Ronald J. Hartman, 69

WOOSTER — Ronald J. Hartman, age 69, of Wooster, died Friday, October 28, 2022, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster, following a period of declining health.
Ron was born on November 25, 1952, in Lima, to the late Melvin and Mabel (Berkshire) Hartman and graduated from Smithville High School in 1971.  He previously worked at Bert’s Texaco and Schantz Organ.  Most recently he was the owner and operator for Ronco Solutions, LLC, which included Hartman Lawn Service and Aquatek Water Treatment for 35 years.
Ron was a member of Smithville Mennonite Church. He enjoyed older automobiles, trucks, hot rods, and muscle cars. He especially liked spending time with his family, as well as his extended family and friends in Wooster and the Green Leaf Restaurant.
Surviving are two siblings, Glenda Plamann of Bradenton, FL and Roger K. Hartman of Wooster; two aunts, Betty J. Berkshire of Orrville and Beulah (Clare) Snider of Elida; three nieces and nephews, Michael (Sammy) Kazsmer of Braselton, GA, Brittney Kazsmer of Bradenton, FL, and Rebecca “Nikki” Swann of Orrville; and great nieces and nephews, Jordan and Joah Clark, Mila and Silas Kazsmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Elaine Faye Swann and Carol Hartman; and brother-in-law, Larry Plamann.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on November 13, 2022, at Smithville Mennonite Church, 6097 Akron Road, Smithville, with Pastor Todd Martin officiating.
