DALTON – Janet S. Hubbard, 81 of Dalton, passed away peacefully at her home on December 1, 2022 surrounded by family.
She had been a member of the Orrville Baptist Church in Orrville, OH. Janet was born on June 25, 1941 in Orgas, WV to the late Sevy Howard and Zelma Hazel (Scott) Taylor.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Hubbard Sr.; granddaughter, Kati Mullins; brothers, Orman Taylor, Clarence Taylor; sister, Barbara Taylor; brother-in-laws, Donald Taylor, and Donald Davis. Janet is survived by son, Richard E. Hubbard Jr.; daughters, Susie Mullins-Ayscue, and Debra Hubbard; sister, Charlotte Davis. She loved her 8 wonderful grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her companion which was her dog Max. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, OH, 44618 with Pastor Dan Hostetler, officiating. Burial will take place at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster, OH. Calling hours will be one hour prior to service time on Tuesday.
