Freda R. Coblentz, 80

MAYSVILLE – Freda R. Coblentz, 80, of 8286 Fountain Nook Road, Apple Creek, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by family from congestive heart failure..

She was born in Holmes County on November 14, 1942 to the late Roman S. and Mattie (Miller) Yoder and on November 15, 1962 she married Jacob R. Coblentz. He died December 2, 2022.
Freda was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by 7 children, Mary Ann of the home, Clara (John) Alexander of Nevada, Robert (Clara) Coblentz of Millersburg, John (Katie Mae) Coblentz of Apple Creek, Adrian (Mary) Coblentz of Fredericksburg, Ada Mae Miller of Lakeville, and Amanda Coblentz of Fredericksburg; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Abe (Anna) Yoder of Fredericksburg and John (Mae) Yoder of Dundee; sisters, Katie (late Joas) Troyer of Dundee, Sara Ann (Vernon) Miller of Millersburg and Clara (Ivan) Stutzman of Fredericksburg.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 9:00 am at the former Maysville Fabric Store, 10476 Harrison Road, Apple Creek, with Bishop Eli A. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Maysville Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 pm on Wednesday and anytime on Thursday at the Maysville Fabric Store. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
