Bonnie L. Yoho, 84

Orrville — Bonnie L. Yoho, age 84, of Orrville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, following a short illness.

Bonnie was born on May 29, 1939, in Harrisville, West Virginia, to the late Ira “Tom” and Geraldine (Gross) Sinnett and married Bernard Layfield. Bernard passed in 1979.

Bonnie was an Orrville resident for many years. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Shady Lawn for over 30 years and attended Christian Harbor Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Bonnie enjoyed her soap operas and camping. She was said to be a quick-witted woman. Everyone loved her fried potatoes and chicken dumplings.

Surviving are her children, Patricia A. Miller of Orrville, OH, Delbert (Debra) Layfield of Berlin, OH, Peggy Good, Debra Layfield, and Daniel Layfield all of Wooster, OH; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Denzil E. “Mike” Sinnett, and Burl F. “Jake” Sinnett; infant sister, Patricia Ann Sinnett; and sisters-in-law, Joyce and Iva Sinnett.

Friends may call on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A private family burial will take place at Harrisville I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Harrisville, WV.
