State fire marshal seeks tips on East Union Twp. mobile home fire

The State Fire Marshal’s Office considers a mobile home fire Sunday along N Millborne Road in East Union Township a case involving arson. No one was injured as a result of the fire. Anyone with information is asked to contact the marshal’s office tip line at 800-589-2728.

EAST UNION TWP.  Fire heavily damaged a mobile home early Sunday morning in East Union Township and the state fire marshal is investigating the case as arson. Apple Creek East Union Township Fire Department was dispatched at 1:07 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, to a mobile home fire at Millborne Manor Mobile Home Park, 240 N Millborne Road, according to a post on Apple Creek East Union Fire Department’s Facebook page.

Crews arrived on scene to find a heavily involved mobile home fire.  No civilians or firefighters were injured.

Chief Jim Zimmerman this week said the state fire marshal’s office is investigating and has ruled the case as arson. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the marshal’s office tip line at 800-589-2728.
