Robert A. Yutzy, 66

Robert A. Yutzy, of Wooster, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton. He was 66 years old.
Born on July 6, 1957, in Wooster, Robert was the son of the late Albert S. and Anna L. (Stutzman) Yutzy. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army and later went on to retire from the former Apple Creek Developmental Center and Mount Vernon Developmental Center.
Robert’s memory will forever be cherished by his daughters, Melanie (Jason) Hull and Jessica Yutzy, as well as his eight grandchildren, Braeden, Brent, Brooklyn, Lily, Kayson, Maskyden, Cairus, and Tammin. He was a loving brother to Wayne (Deborah) Yutzy, Al Jr. (Kelly) Yutzy, Paul (Wilma) Yutzy, Dave Yutzy, Kathy Schrier, Melvin (Elizabeth) Hostetler, Gary Yutzy, and Sharon (Paul) Mullins.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy Yutzy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pier At Lighthouse of Hope, located at 10470 Winesburg Rd, Dundee, OH 44624, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor and remember Robert’s life, sharing memories and finding comfort in each other’s presence. Robert will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.
Interment will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, located at 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 1:45 pm.
