Keith L. Sauers, 73

Orrville — Keith L. Sauers, age 73, of Orrville, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at his home in Orrville, following a period of declining health.

Keith was born on August 3, 1951, in Orrville, Ohio, to the late Laverne and Eloise (Shultzman) Sauers. Keith went on to serve as a Specialist in the United States Army during Vietnam War.

He worked as a mechanic for Smith Foods for 41 years, retiring in 2019.

Keith enjoyed doing genealogy research and building bird houses.

Surviving are his two sons, Jonathan Sauers and Eric (Cindy) Sauers; three grandchildren, Blake, Aiden, and Emmet Sauers; a sister, Becky (Glenn) Fahrni; a niece and a nephew; and his special cousin, Linda (John) Kraft.

He was preceded in death by both his parents.

Per Keith’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private family graveside will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman where military rites will be observed.
