Rachel Mae Dean Nussbaum, 51

Rachel Mae Dean Nussbaum, age 51, of Orrville, formerly of Frazeysburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her home following a period of declining health.
Born on August 7, 1973, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, Rachel was the daughter of the late Donald Dean and Eileen Kay Turner. She was later adopted by Paul Nussbaum and Sarah (Mast) Northey.
Rachel was a 1993 graduate of Norwayne High School. On April 7, 2024, she married Ray Ady, with whom she shared her final year, filled with love, companionship, and faith.
A devoted member of both Marshallville Community Church and Fallsburg Baptist Church, Rachel found great joy in her faith and her church communities. She cherished her time in worship and carried a deep love for God throughout her life.
Rachel will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. She enjoyed the simple pleasures-swimming, watching movies, spending time with family, and attending cookouts. Her beloved cats were more than pets; they were her cherished fur babies.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her loving husband, Ray Ady; her siblings, Robert Nussbaum, Robin (Bob) Hardesty, Mary (Scott) Hardesty, Jeremy (Kelly) Nussbaum, and Karla Nussbaum; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who will miss her dearly.
Rachel’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jesse Millard officiating.
