Daniel Ross “Danny” Edwards, 90
Orrville — Daniel Ross “Danny” Edwards, age 90, of Orrville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026, following a period of declining health.
Danny was born on September 26, 1935 in Barberton, OH to the late Clarence and Grace Edwards.
He graduated from Orrville High School in 1953 and married Martha Edwards in 1957. Danny attended Bowling Green State University and Wooster Business College before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving two years active duty and 5 years inactive duty.
After the Marines, he worked at J.M. Smucker Company until his retirement. Danny took pride in his career and often reflected on the joy and fond memories his work brought him.
Danny is survived by his daughter, Kathy Edwards; his son, David Edwards; and several nieces and a nephew.
Private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or cards, those wishing to honor Danny’s memory are encouraged to perform an act of kindness for someone or make a memorial contribution to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, Christ United Church of Christ in Orrville, or a charity of their choice.
