Dawn M. Campbell, 55

Orrville – Dawn M. Campbell, age 55, of Orrville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Dawn was born on February 24, 1970, in Baldwinsville, New York, to the late Henry and Arlene (Kentile) Campbell. She graduated from CW Baker High School in Baldwinsville with the Class of 1989 and later from Brown Mackie College in North Canton. Dawn worked for many years as a Registered Veterinary Technician before retiring in 2024, though her greatest joy and most cherished role was being a stay-at-home mother.

Dawn was a member of Orrville Mennonite and faithfully volunteered at Monday Meals. She had a love for the outdoors and could often be found hiking or spending time with animals. She also enjoyed reading and, above all, treasured the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her three beloved sons, Joshua Cooper of Orrville, Christopher Kalapodis of Orrville, and Nathan (Emily) Kalapodis of Parris Island, South Carolina; her brother, Dana (Terry) Campbell of Baldwinsville, New York; her granddaughter, Addison Faith Kalapodis; and her dear friend, Carla Duffy.

She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Per Dawn’s wishes cremation will take place. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on August 9, 2025, at Orrville Mennonite Church, 1305 W. Market Street, Orrville.
