Rebecca Kratzer, 83

Becky was born on August 8, 1942, in Loyal Oak, Ohio, to William S. and Anna E. (Bailey) Lee. She graduated from Medina Highland High School in 1960. On August 19, 1981, she married Larry K. Kratzer in Medina, and he survives her.
Becky had a diverse career, working in several fields over the years. She spent her final years as a truck driver for All Erection Crane Rental. She was also deeply committed to her community, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and being an active member of the Country Western Music Chapter in Akron. An accomplished musician, Becky played the steel guitar and piano, and she also enjoyed singing in a country western band.
A woman of many passions, Becky had a natural creative streak. She loved decorating, gardening, and had a deep appreciation for flowers. Her love for animals and gospel music were central to her life, and she found joy in sharing these interests with others.
In addition to her husband, Larry, Becky is survived by her three children: Ron (Mavis) Weger of Tennessee, Joanna Cleary of Akron, and Terri Vaughn of Montana; two stepsons, Mike and Kris Kratzer, both of Georgia; six grandchildren: Jodi, Meghan, Taylor, Trent, Calvin, and Amber; five great-grandchildren: Eva, Alice, Charlotte, Waylon, and Murphy Lee; her siblings: Serge (Pat) Lee, Bertha (Ken) Frost, Jon (Char) Lee, and Anna Belle (Dave) Krejci; brother-in-law, Gene Warner; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepson, Larry Dean Kratzer; her son-in-law, Todd Vaughn; and her siblings, Frances (Paul) Beichler, Loren (Lois) Lee, Maureen Warner, Joe (Bonnie) Lee, and James M. Lee.
