Denise A. Amstutz, 69

Orrville — Denise A. Amstutz, age 69, of Orrville, died Friday, December 19, 2025, at Akron General Medical Center, following a brief period of declining health.

Denise was born on December 28, 1955, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Louis and Lucille (Melito) Andriotto and graduated from Canton Central Catholic High School and obtained her bachelor’s degree at Hiram College.  She married Chester “Chet” Amstutz on August 24, 1991 and he survives.

She worked in Customer Service for Babcock & Wilcox for 35 years, retiring with her husband in 2009.

Denise was a member of Orrville YMCA where she taught Zumba classes for 8 years. She loved watching her granddaughters play volleyball, rarely missing a game. She also enjoyed cooking and baking with them.

Surviving is her husband, Chet; son, Scott (Kelly) Amstutz; grandchildren, Avari Amstutz and Maci Amstutz; nephew, Chris Newland; and godchildren Sophia and Maria.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Andriotto; mother, Lucille Andriotto; and two sisters.

Friends may call on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Services will be held at 2:15 pm on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Don E. Bolich officiating.
