Paul A. Chamberlin, 81

Dalton – Paul A. Chamberlin, age 81, of Dalton, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, at Shady Lawn Health Care Community in Dalton, following a period of declining health.
Paul was born on February 17, 1944, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Hank and Jesse Chamberlin. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and went on to continue his education at Cleveland State University.
Paul spent much of his professional career working in sales, but his greatest passion was coaching youth sports, particularly golf and basketball. He had a deep love for mentoring young people, teaching them lessons that extended far beyond the course or the court and into everyday life. A devoted supporter of youth athletics, Paul willingly traveled near and far to encourage his favorite teams and the young athletes he cared so deeply about. Especially attending his grandkids extracurricular events. He was their biggest fan.
When he was not coaching, Paul enjoyed spending time on the golf course, watching sports, and sharing moments with his family and his loyal companions, his Doodles Arnie, and Ben and Hogan. A devoted family man, he treasured time with his children and grandchildren. Those who knew him best will fondly remember his wonderful sense of humor and his remarkable ability to make everyone around him smile and laugh.
Surviving Paul are his significant other, Melinda Budd; his daughter, Cari (Dave) Leatherman; his son, Colby (Jocelyn Rodgers) Chamberlin; grandchildren, Kara and Tyler Leatherman, and Sidny, Zoe, and Seth Chamberlin; step-grandchildren, Kel and Arlo Holmes-Rodgers; two brothers, Danny and Louie Chamberlin; and his beloved best friend, Arnie.
