Paul Brenneman, 93

ORRVILLE — Paul Brenneman, age 93, of Orrville, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, following a brief illness.
Paul was born in Orrville, OH. He graduated from Orrville High School in the Class of 1951. He married Evelyn in Logan, OH. They were married for 71 years and had three children. Evelyn survives.
Paul worked at Apple Creek Developmental Center until retirement.
He was faithfully involved in church. Paul developed an interest in trains as a boy that lasted throughout his life. He was a member of the Orrville Railroad Heritage Society for many years.
In addition to his wife, Evelyn, Paul is survived by a daughter, Susan (Tim) Goering of Kansas; sons, Mark (Sue) Brenneman of Pennsylvania and Andrew Brenneman of Colorado; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Alvin Henry (Marie) Brenneman Jr. of Orrville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Esther (Chester) Yoder and Mildred (John) Peachey.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Crown Hill Mennonite Church Cemetery in Rittman, with Pastor Jan Croyle officiating.
