Vicki D. Marshall, 82

Orrville – Vicki D. Marshall, age 82, of Orrville, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley Assisted Living in Poland, Ohio, following a period of declining health.

Vicki was born on May 4, 1943, in Fostoria, Ohio, to the late Dewey and Elizabeth (Householder) Smith. She graduated from Fostoria High School in 1961. On May 4, 1982, she married Larry Marshall at their residence in Orrville, sharing many devoted years together until his passing on December 15, 2025.

Vicki dedicated 29 years of service to Aultman (Dunlap Memorial) Hospital, where she worked as a Laboratory Manager and later as a Risk Manager, retiring in 2008.

She and her husband were frequent visitors to the Orrville V.F.W., enjoying time spent with friends and community. Vicki had many creative interests, including bowling, crafting with beads and stained glass, and sewing, even making clothing for her son. In her later years, she found great joy in designing and creating greeting cards. She also loved to travel, especially by train, enjoyed trying new things, and had a special fondness for hot air balloons.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynnette (Paul) Giffin and Angela (Doug Lipp) Marshall; a son, Craig (Gina DeAngelo) Marshall; six grandchildren, Aarica (Nick) Dean, Brandon Cutshaw, Aaron (Holly) Cutshaw, Jacob (Lexi Corder) Giffin, Jesse Giffin, and Benjamin Giffin; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Byrne and Ellie Corder; and a brother, David (Jeannie) Adams-Smith.

In addition to her husband and parents, Vicki was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Smith.

There will be no services, and cremation will take place.
