Edna J. Weaver, 79

Edna J. Weaver, 79, of Kidron, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026 with her family by her side.

She was born in Wooster on November 8, 1946 to the late Jacob E. and Mary T. (Hostetler) Hershberger and on April 30, 1964 she married Harry Weaver. He survives.

For 20 years Edna took care of the elderly, and for 12 of those years she did it in her home. She loved to paint, and spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed theme parks, and at the age of 60 she jumped out of a plane.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, David (Betty) Weaver, Mary (Jerry) Miller, Daniel (Wesley) Weaver, and Ruth (Marvin) Keim; 18 granchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth; 2 brothers, Eli and David; and 3 infant brothers.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Freedom Fellowship Church, 6209 S. Carr Road, Apple Creek, Ohio 44606. A private family graveside service will take place at a later time.
