Judie Westfall, 82

ORRVILLE – Judie Westfall, 82, of Orrville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster, following a period of declining health. Surrounded by the love of her family throughout her life, Judie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering faith.
Born November 29, 1943, in Orrville, Judie was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Geiger) Mangle. She attended Orrville High School and was a member of the Class of 1963.
Judie’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was caring for her family and creating a warm, loving home for those she cherished. In addition to being a devoted homemaker, she worked as a bus driver for Heritage Christian School before concluding her working career as a cook for the Head Start Program through Community Action Wayne/Medina, where she faithfully served for many years.
A member of Wooster Church of the Nazarene, Judie lived a life grounded in faith, compassion, and love for others. Her family was truly the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also found special joy in the beauty of Monarch butterflies, which reflected the gentle spirit she carried throughout her life.
She is survived by her six children, Russ (Desiree) Westfall, Randall “Randy” Westfall, Ron Westfall, Robyn (Michael) McClintock, Rynae (Jacob) Hammerly, and Rick (Jennifer) Westfall; sixteen grandchildren, Rochelle (Ian Gustafson) Westfall, Naomi Westfall, Henry Westfall, Kylie (Harold) McCumbers, Zachary (Cora) Westfall, Alex (Allison) Westfall, Derek Westfall, Lauryn (Seth) Shields, Adam McClintock, Erin McClintock, Katelyn Goodard, Hunter (Javontae) Goodard, Axton Hammerly, Nya Hammerly, Tyson (Elena) Cook, and Gaven (Kelsie Himes) Westfall; a bonus grandson, Jordan Musselman; and eighteen great-grandchildren, Shelby, Oscar, Emerson, Kaden, Adalynn, Jayda, Jase, Leah, Kane, Sophia-Grace, Emma, Lincoln, Maysen, Braxton, Austin, Ivory, Camden, and Kanon. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Mangle of Greenville, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, Judie was preceded in death by her siblings, Gary “Butch” Mangle, Coraly Collins, David Mangle, and Betty Green.
Friends may call Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Nathan Ward officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
