Yoder, Sarah B.

Sarah B. (Yoder) Byler, 84, of 1775 County Road 200, Dundee, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born in Wayne County on August 11, 1936 to the late Ben S. and Elmina (Burkholder) Yoder and married Rudy R. Byler on January 16, 1962 and he survives.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Amos (Anna) Byler of Apple Creek, Daniel (Fannie) Byler of Fredericksburg, Junior (Anna) Byler of Dundee, Elmina (Daniel) Hershberger of Millersburg, Freeman (Iva) Byler of Millersburg and Mary Ann (Marion) Miller of the home; 3 sisters, Sovilla of Fredericksburg, Gertie (Roman) Hershberger of Baltic and Edna (Junior) Hershberger of Baltic; a sister-in-law, Mattie (Dan) Yoder; a brother-in-law, Alfred Schlabach; 24 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mattie Schlabach and Mary B. Yoder; a brother, Dan B. Yoder; and grandchildren, Allen and Laura Byler.
The family would like to thank Aultman Hospice and caretakers Katie Mast and Irene Kauffman for their kind and compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the family residence with Bishop Norman Keim officiating.  Burial will follow in the Keim Cemetery, Paint Township, Holmes County.  Friends may call anytime Saturday or Sunday at the family home.  Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
