Miller, Dan H.
Dan H. Miller, 83, of 4998 Fountain Nook Road, Apple Creek, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 5, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Wayne County on January 14, 1938, the son of the late Henry E. and Mattie (Yoder) Miller and married Fannie J. Troyer on January 16, 1958 and she survives.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, the late Robert (Mary) Miller of Danville, Henry (Sara Etta) Miller of Millersburg, Ruth (Abe) Yoder of Apple Creek, Roy (Dora) Miller of Apple Creek, John (Barbara Ann) Miller of the home and Ivan (Elsie) Miller of Fredericksburg; 40 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; half siblings, Mattie (the late John) Miller, Barbara (David) Hochstetler, Erma (Abe) Miller, Jacob (Erma) Yoder, Nelson (Mary) Yoder, Dan (Ada) Yoder and Andrew (Verna) Yoder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert; 2 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 am at the family residence with Bishop Eli D. Stutzman officiating. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in East Union Township. Friend may call anytime on Saturday or Sunday at the family residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
