Hoffman, Kristine Kay
Kristine Kay (Dale) Hoffman, 66, of Akron, passed away at Akron City Hospital on Wednesday, May 19 at 5:55pm, following irreversible complications from a stroke.
Kris was born on Christmas day, 1954, at Massillon City Hospital to John and Georgia Dale.
She was a graduate of Tuslaw High School and the University of Akron and was a teacher for over 30 years, retiring from St. Peter and Paul School in Doylestown. Additionally, she was affiliated with the Chapel in Green where she sometimes helped with special needs classes on Sundays.
Kris was full of adventure; she enjoyed travelling, hiking, and riding motorcycles, pontoons, and golf carts. She also loved tending to her flowers, dancing, listening to a variety of music, and relaxing with a glass of wine. Kris was also an avid reader. As an educator, she read a lot of history and English textbooks; however, in her retirement, she enjoyed Christian literature and love stories.
Above all, she truly loved to have fun and spend quality time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Kristine is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph A. Hoffman, II; son, Joseph A. Hoffman, III; daughter, Rachael Hoffman; mother, Georgia (Howell) Dale; brother, Ron Dale; sister, Jacquie (Don) Douglas; brother, John Dale; and numerous extended family and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, John Dale and sister-in-law, Marge Dale.

Her final resting place is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Massillon.
