Carol June Hiner

DALTON – Carol June Hiner, age 92, passed away on December 9, 2021.

Born on September 19, 1929 in Akron, OH, to the late Charles and Marion (Lintern) Ressler, she was a lifelong resident of Dalton.  Having worked for various companies in her earlier years, she was a member of the Dalton Presbyterian Church, and the Dalton Community Historical Society.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Hiner, and brothers, William and Stanford Ressler, she is survived by her daughter, Kathi (Von) Castle of Canton; son, Ron (Connie) Hiner of Orrville; grandchildren, Jeff (Roxy) McGraner, Staci Stoffer, Chris (Amy) Hiner, Tara (Adam) Peters; 6 great grandchildren; other family and friends.

A private service with burial next to her daughter at Dalton Cemetery will be held by the family.  Memorials in her name may be made to the Dalton Presbyterian Church.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
